We are looking for a part-time Property Manager to provide as needed support to a growing property management company. Hours per week are expected to increase over time. This position has potential for 40 hours per week in the future and discretionary bonuses based on performance.
PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to respond to communications within one hour during 9-5 EST if you are hired for this position. You will be required to have a computer and internet access to be hired for this role.
As a Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting Ascend Property Management to provide superior service to Owners and Residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting property setup procedures
- Move-in and move-out procedures
- Apartment showings
This role requires excellent communication skills, exceptional time management, ability to follow procedures, and computer skills.
Work Schedule and Environment:
- Flexible and Task Focused.
- You must be responsive during our workday. 9-5 EST.
- Estimated 5-20 hours per week currently.
- Company Email and Google Workspace provided.
- Access provided to other company software.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to Resident and Owner requests.
- Complete assigned tasks and coordinate completion with the assigned Property Manager when necessary.
- Manage move-in/move-out processes, including inspections.
- Perform property setup processes to include lockbox installation and Make Ready Inspections.
- Take marketing photos of vacant properties and send them to the Leasing Agent.
- Document work completed in provided software in accordance with procedures.
- Enforce lease terms and handle resident relations issues courteously and efficiently.
Expectations for Superior Service and Responsiveness:
- Respond to all Team Member, Vendor, Resident, and Owner requests, calls, or emails, within 24 business hours.
- You must be responsive during our workday. 9-5 EST.
- Respond to internal chat messages within 1 hour.
- Respond to email on the same business day.
- Inform supervisor if you will be on vacation or unavailable.
- Assigned Tasks in our software must be kept up to date and completed on time.
- Provide exceptional customer service to Owners and Residents, both in person and over the phone.
- Uphold our commitment to Resident satisfaction by providing a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while working in Resident properties or meeting with Owners.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
