Grow your career as an Associate Brand Manager with ALG Vacations. In this role, you will be responsible for marketing activities that impact the business daily for two to three of our consumer vacation brands. You will:
- Drive creative requests, manage integrated marketing campaigns internally, externally, and cross-functionally.
- Drive social strategy, manage media plans, manage PR initiatives.
- Assist with the customer experience, maintain brand standards, work with agencies on campaigns.
- Report and track marketing spend and more.
- Analyze performance and provide recaps for integrated marketing campaigns.
- Consolidate all marketing plans into a monthly deck.
A successful Associate Brand Manager will:
- Own and drive creative requests, distribution of assets, execution of campaigns, and creation of performance recaps for all social campaigns across the brands through coordination with marketing agency, merchandising team, and PM.
- Analyze performance and provide insights on how to improve future campaigns.
- Identify landing pages to be developed for marketing campaigns and collaborate with content and merchandising teams to create best-in-class pages for consumer engagement.
- Manage and create all necessary assets for integrated marketing consumer brand campaigns to drive engagement.
- Decide where and how to promote based on current media schedules and initiatives.
- Coordinate media placements with Performance Marketing team for fully integrated campaigns.
- Define and manage reporting and tracking process for marketing spend including line item spend across brand budgets with annual spend ~$1M brand.
- Monitor customer reviews on third-party sites and check power reviews weekly report to reply to customers and/or send swag.
- Manage the swag process and handle distribution to customers.
- Review all email and SMS creative.
- Meet weekly with email and SMS teams to ideate and strategize on calendar, creatives, promotions, and reaching customers.
- Drive email and SMS strategy on brand campaigns.
- Manage brand standards across all projects from banner ad creative development, site management, and beyond.
- Manage monthly updates for the B2B communication deck.
- Manage media buying process. Work with Senior Brand Manager to allocate funds.
- Buy media and approve plans from third-party vendors.
- Evaluate new opportunities across various channels. Work with internal teams to align on strategy.
- Create quarterly reporting grids.
- Manage creative and co-op strategy with merchandising team.
- Create monthly creatives to promote sales.
- Work with agency to manage PR strategy, collaborate with internal teams to execute press trips.
- Manage PR partnerships and media placements (i.e., SWNS, stellar sweepstakes, etc.).
- Analyze performance of brand campaign landing pages using Google Analytics and provide recommendations for future campaigns.
- Track Brand Awareness across brands on a monthly basis and create recap decks for campaigns and work completed.
- Independently analyze social media performance for your brands and provide monthly recaps for all brands; work with MMGY on social strategy and social content.
- Manage social media giveaways including working with Legal Department on development of Official Rules, implementing on social channels, coordinating with winners, and awarding prizes, striving to grow social followings.
- Provide marketing support for any new programs, product launches or incentives.
- Additional duties as needed to support new marketing activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of marketing/communications experience; internships considered as experience.
- Familiarity with business management tools such as Teams, Trello, Google Analytics, Microsoft Suite.
- Ability to communicate effectively and present ideas to business leaders.
- Strong writing, spelling, and grammar skills.
- Creative, self-motivated, and ready to take initiative.
- Strong time management and follow-up skills.
- Excellent organizational, clerical, and project management skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to comply with strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks at once.
- Flexibility and willingness to conform to changing job responsibilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Competency in leveraging customer insight to creatively introduce forward-thinking and dynamic approaches to merchandising.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple leaders across various vacation brands.
- Ability to travel 5% of the time.
